The Beginning of Blogging

Hello!  I am Octevia Torian.  I am an elementary teacher for Richmond Public Schools.  I am currently on my 9th year of teaching.  I have a master’s degree in Reading and Literacy.  I am excited about completing my program In Educational Leadership with Virginia Commonwealth University.  I have learned and gained so much valuable information to prepare me for leadership in the school system. My goal is become an assistant principal or incorporate my Reading and Literacy degree to improve literacy in the school district.  I am excited about completing a new goal in my life, and moving to the next level in my career.
