I am excited to become an administrator/leader. I am looking forward to growing in education and improving the lives of other educators and employees. It is very important to provide support to the staff in all area. By shadowing the administrators and leaders of the school, I was able to really see what areas are priorities of the schools. By observation and asking questions, I was able to gather so much information and knowledge that I did not get from just being a classroom teacher. I have really grown from working on the administrative side. I have concluded the top categories that should be a priority focus. 1.) Data 2.) Developing IEP 3.) School Improvement 4.) Controlling Behavior and Discipline
I have learned that being an administrator takes a lot of work, planning, dedication, staying current on recent research to improve the schools. I will work long and hard to make sure my staff are happy and getting the help and resources that they need. I will provide everything that my staff needs. If I’m not sure of what is going on I will find current research to support the staff. I provide a positive and nurturing environment for my faculty and staff (employees).
