Where are the Leaders?

Developing a leadership team has been the best challenge given to me as I continue my journey into administration.  I had to develop a project that I wanted to lead in a school.   I asked several teachers to be on my leadership team.  I made it like a small workshop and a course as well.  I sent out a survey to the teachers and then guided them in reading articles and participating in activities to improve in their leadership skills. The teachers were really excited and completed the survey.  I was surprised at some of the results that were provided about the lack of leadership skills in the district and school.  I was amazed at what the teachers wanted to do to improve their current school. So my question is where are the leaders? Not the BOSS, but real change agents for schools and community.
