What are some creative ways for new teachers to relax after they finish work? Talking to a new teacher can be quite an interesting conversation. We discussed how college prepared us in OH SOME different ways through technology and the particular university’s program. One thing we have in common is we need that balance outside of our long, always thinking day at work. I have seen administrators and teachers get lost between work, life, and family. I think more teachers need Happier Times, if you know what I mean!
Here are “OH SOME” ideas to maintain balance and release education stress syndrome…I just made that up. Whatever it is, have an amazing time doing whatever it is🤷🏽♀️
- Travel- Museum, park, zoo, mall without your students
- Color/paint even on yourself
- Dance like no one is watching and even if they are dance🤪
- Spend time with family and friends
- Sleep and do not give a care what your hair looks like
- Find a hobby…your passion of course
- Play your childhood games. Many are coming back out.
- Of course, the fun exercise, dance or something. Whatever “works out” for you in a wiggle movement.
- Watch a movie or read a book you would never read on your own.
- Take a free class/attend a networking event/participate in a crazy race
