Octevia Torian is from Virginia & has 14+ years of experience in the education field with a focus on the Next Generation Science Standards, Project-Based Learning, & STEM. In the past she has served as an instructional coach, advisor and advanced academics resource teacher. Octevia is currently in her second year of teaching in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates. She loves to bring real life experiences to the classroom for students and takes pleasure in seeing learners engaged in the classroom and applying their knowledge to everyday life.
